Our Queen has died and Thanksgiving has just passed. What a life she had. There was a beautiful commutative ceremony with our own RCMP Musical Ride officers leading the march to the church.
We are still dealing with the Ukraine and Afghan wars and destruction and killings. It is amazing how the finger is being pointed elsewhere when it should be pointed at the person who is pointing. There are demonstrations in their countries and also in Canada. This year has really driven us in another direction.
Our annual contests are over. Our anthology will have over 130 submissions. We had some interesting submissions for the racism/sexism and inner peace themes.
I have been nominated for a city award which I will be getting on November 3. It is called the 2022 Mississauga Awards – Volunteer Heritage Award.
Mark is doing an amazing job on our ezine and it is growing all the time. Thank you all for your submissions.
